With this project, the client was looking to dramatically modernise and improve their home, incorporating some interesting design features. All services were upgraded or replaced as were joinery and redecoration. Our brief on this project was to:-
- Provide all designs, plans, and building drawings.
- Add a front atrium to create a light airy hall.
- Replace the entire roof and add a partial mezzanine level incorporating a study.
- Add a master bedroom with a feature vaulted ceiling.
- Add a 1 further bedroom, 2 bathrooms, dressing room, family room, home cinema room and utility room.
- Convert a single garage to given additional kitchen space.
- Replace all windows / doors.
- Replace heating / plumbing / wiring.
- Fit new kitchen & 2 bathrooms.
- Re-decorate throughout.
This project clearly exploited all the available space in this house and gave the client a thoroughly modernised contemporary family home.
